Hello, thank you for visiting my small business website! My name is Amber, I am a Colorado native who has always had a passion and a deep rooted love for animals. I started working with animals at the age of 15, where I lived and worked on a dude ranch in Estes Park taking out guided horseback rides through the Rocky Mountains. I helped care for a herd of over 80 horses and other various farm animals. Whenever the vet would come out for routine or emergency calls, I was always the one right there by their side; eager to learn and help nurse our sick and injured animals back to health.

Around the age of 19, I decided I wanted to turn my passion into my career and went to school to be a Veterinary Technician. Now here I am almost 9 years later, running my own small business with intentions to help people and their pets in a new way. I have experience with all sorts of animals, from horses, cows, goats, and chickens to small pocket pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, birds and reptiles, and of course our beloved dogs and cats. I have worked in both general practice and emergency settings, as well as most recently mobile vet services. I have my fear-free certification - a method in handling animals, an approach that ensures a less is more philosophy and creates positive experiences for both the pet and their human.

My goal is to provide a service that alleviates the stress of going into a clinic for basic needs, to be more community based and help people who are struggling to do it on their own. Out of all of my experiences in Veterinary Medicine, I have felt mobile work has been the most rewarding experience of them all. Majority of pets are terrified of going into a clinic. They are in a scary place with lots of smells and sounds, they get taken away from their owners and that can be very overwhelming! I have found through the art of fear-free and in home visits, my patients are much happier and willing to allow you to get the job done. My clients are always the most grateful to me, because they have such positive experiences and it is super convenient for them as well.
